France has lifted the FIFA 2018 World cup after beating Croatia to a 4:2 win. An own goal at the 18th minute gave France the early lead. An equalizer came after ten minutes from Ivan Perisic making the the sides even.
Another ten minutes saw France leading by one goal after a video assistant referee called for a penalty awarded to France. Antoine Griezmann left-footed penalty kick sealed the French win before the half time whistle.
Paul Pogba opened the second half score at the 59th minute and followed by Kylian Mbappe brilliant score at the 65th minute. Mario Mandzukic scored Croatia’s consolation and second goal at the 69th minute, sealing the trophy for the French side.
